Full Job Description

Join the Elite Restoration Team

Elite Restoration is a growing Australian restoration company specialising in water, fire, mould and cleaning services. We work with residential, commercial, strata and insurance clients across Australia.

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Carpet Cleaning Technician to join our team. This role is suitable for someone with carpet cleaning experience or someone from a related cleaning, restoration, maintenance or construction background who is willing to learn.

About the Role

As a Carpet Cleaning Technician, you will be responsible for providing professional carpet and property cleaning services while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Carpet cleaning and stain treatment
Carpet extraction and drying
Upholstery and general cleaning as required
Cleaning carpets affected by water damage
Assisting with water damage restoration and make-safe works
Assisting with mould cleaning and remediation when required
Inspecting and documenting affected areas
Operating cleaning and restoration equipment
Setting up and monitoring drying equipment
Taking photos and completing job reports
Maintaining equipment and keeping the work area clean and organised
Communicating professionally with customers, tenants, property managers and insurance representatives
Following all workplace health and safety procedures
Travelling to residential and commercial properties as required

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Detail-oriented and takes pride in their work
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
Professional and confident when dealing with customers
Able to follow instructions and safety procedures
Willing to learn new equipment and restoration processes
Available for occasional emergency or after-hours work when required

Experience & Requirements

Previous carpet cleaning or professional cleaning experience is preferred
Experience in restoration, water damage, mould remediation, property maintenance or construction is advantageous
Experience operating carpet extraction or cleaning equipment is advantageous
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred
Valid Australian driver's licence
Reliable transport
White Card is advantageous
IICRC certification is advantageous but not essential
Willingness to complete company training
