The role:

Develop and nurture relationships with employers seeking return to work support for their organisation

Case management for injured workers who are needing physical and/or psychological support to return them back to employment

Taking a more holistic care approach, establish key relationships with health professionals and work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing

Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise. This could include functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments

Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including the injured employee, employer, medical specialists and other allied health professionals to develop, implement and monitor rehabilitation plans.

What will make you successful:

Current unrestricted (or eligibility for) registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA or ASORC)

Occupational Rehabilitation experience is highly regarded
-
Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation Counselling, Exercise Physiology or Nursing

Strong clinical reasoning
-
Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal

Passion to help people rehabilitate

Demonstrated ability to work autonomously
