About this Position
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced People and Culture Advisor (HR Business Partner) to join the People and Culture team in a permanent role.
As a trusted business partner, this role delivers customer‑centric service delivery support to a specific business unit, providing expert advice and guidance across the full range of employment lifecycle activities. This includes recruitment and retention, employee relations, workforce planning and performance management. The role also supports organisational change and contributes to building a strong reputation for quality and well‑informed decision‑making.
Operating as a HR generalist across the full employee lifecycle, the position partners with designated stakeholder groups to provide tailored HR advice and support, while working collaboratively within the wider People and Culture team.

Key areas of accountability for the role
- Partner with stakeholders to deliver end‑to‑end employee lifecycle services, ensuring a positive and engaging employee experience
- Advise and support managers and employees on employee relations matters, including disciplinary and performance management issues, to support a positive performance culture
- Provide confidential, timely and specialist advice and support to managers and employees
What you will need to be successful
- Tertiary qualifications in a HR‑related discipline or demonstrated experience in HR business partnering
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality, customer‑centric employee and employee relations services
- Well‑developed understanding of employment legislation, regulation and contemporary workforce management practices
- Proven ability to be solutions‑focused, flexible and responsive in complex and fast‑paced environments
- Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience working with Human Resources Information Systems

Employment type: Full‑time – 70 hours per fortnight
