Full Job Description

Shop Assistant – Henrys Bakery Cafe Lismore

Job Type: Casual

Pay Rate: $33.19/hour base rate (for ages 20+)

Shifts:

Trading hours 6am - 6pm Monday to Saturday

Shifts available: 2-4 shifts/week

Love a fast-paced start to your day surrounded by the smell of fresh coffee and warm pastries? We’re looking for an energetic Shop Assistant to join our bakery crew for 2-3 shifts per week!

What You’ll Be Doing

Serving customers with a smile and providing great customer service
Operating the register and handling payments accurately
Packing and presenting fresh bread, pastries, and pies
Keeping the shop area clean, stocked, and welcoming
Assisting with coffee orders or sandwich prep as needed

About You

You’re punctual, reliable, and enjoy being part of a fast-paced team
You bring a positive attitude and enjoy chatting with regular customers
You can work efficiently during busy periods
Previous retail, bakery, or café experience is an advantage (but not essential — we’ll train the right person)
