About the role

We are currently seeking reliable and compassionate disability support workers to provide support and assistance to a 60-year old female with a disability, this care will help her live independently in her home.

While your skills/qualifications and experience tell us part of your story, your values, attitude, and cultural alignment with Southern Cross are essential.

Duties include but not limited too

Personal care
Meal preparation and supervision
Assistance with Allied health tasks
Manual handling
Domestic assistance
Documentation and reporting

You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can.

Shift times available:

Monday to Friday 4pm-7pm

Requirements:

Passionate about caring and committed to client wellbeing
Current references
Mobile phone
Current driver's licence and your own car with insurance
NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
Working With Children Check – Paid (mandatory)
