The Role
At Lesmurdie SHS, we have recently restructured our Student Services team to meet the needs of our community. Therefore, there are three positions to fill each being responsible for two-year groups. The preferred applicants for this role will provide pastoral care and wellbeing support for students across two-year groups between Years 7 and 12.
As valued members of the Student Services team we envision conscientious, flexible and innovative educators deeply committed to the holistic development of every student. You will implement and support class teachers through CMS and Positive behaviour schools’ policy and support the Chuditch reward system. You will report to one Program Coordinator and will provide case management for identified students with external agencies and collaboratively within the wider Student Services team.
Advanced skills in time management, event organisation and communication would be deemed important. Building positive relationships with students and parents aligns with our values. Some understanding of teen mental health and wellness strategies would be desirable. An ability to work with others and a sense of humour is desirable in such a fast paced support team.
