Job Description:
Melgrand is seeking a highly skilled and organized Electronic Equipment Trades Worker to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for machines. This role involves install, maintain, and repair electronic systems—including computers, security, and consumer audio/visual devices—by diagnosing faults, replacing components, and calibrating equipment.
Personal Skills:
• Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Portuguese
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
Responsibilities:
- Examining and testing machines, equipment, instruments and control systems to diagnose faults
- Adjusting, repairing, and replacing worn and defective parts and wiring, and maintaining machines, equipment and instruments.
- Reassembling, test operating and adjusting equipment.
- Prepare operating procedures of machines.
- Advising users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions.
- Installing electronic instruments and control systems
- Applying knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic principles in commissioning and maintaining control systems
Requirements:
• Relevant experience in marketing or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of work experience
• Proficiency in advanced MS Office tools, particularly in managing complex data and design documents
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Australia/New Zealand Permanent Residents only
Pay: $76,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
