About the Role
As a Qualified Wood Machinist , you'll play a crucial role in our production team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Interpreting technical drawings to execute projects with precision.
- Utilising a variety of tools and machines, including saws, routers, and drills, to cut, shape, and assemble components.
- Collaborating effectively with team members and managers to meet project deadlines and maintain our high-quality standards.
- Maintaining a safe and organized working environment, adhering strictly to health and safety guidelines.
Skills & Experience We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of Certificate III in Cabinetmaking/Joinery or alternatively 4-5 years of significant relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience with Homag and Weeke machinery or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational skills and a reputation for reliability.
- Excellent communication skills.
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
