Full Job Description

We're Tinka — a well-loved café in Launceston with a reputation for seriously good coffee, great brunch food, and the kind of warm, unpretentious hospitality that keeps people coming back. We're a bit casual, a bit playful, and very particular about the experience we create for our guests. If that sounds like your kind of place, read on.

We're looking for a Café Manager to help lead our team and keep the Tinka standard doing what it does. This is a part-time role sitting at around 32 hours a week to start, with genuine scope to grow for the right person.

The hours work in your favour: Shifts run 7:45am–1:30 or 2:30pm depending on the day...you're out while there's still daylight and plenty of day left to live your life. Five days a week with flexibility around which days, and you'll have real input into your own roster alongside the team's.

What we're actually looking for:

Solid hospitality experience, ideally with some leadership or management behind you
Someone who genuinely loves coffee - we want you to care about what's in the cup
Latte art ability is a big tick
Strong people skills and the ability to lead a team with both warmth and direction
Someone organised enough to keep things running smoothly but relaxed enough to have fun doing it
