Full Job Description

Motor Mechanic

Salary: $81,016/annum ($41/hr.)

Bridgewood Pty Ltd is part of a privately owned motor vehicle group who are looking for a motivated and experienced, full time, Motor Mechanic to join the team.

We at Bridgewood understand that our employees are our greatest asset, and we are looking for a person who has the same passion and enthusiasm as us to achieve the best outcome for our customers.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Carrying out diagnostic work to identify any mechanical and electrical faults by removing mechanisms and parts
Detecting, repairing and replacing worn and faulty parts
Reassembling engines and parts that have been repaired
Conducting work under warranty which must be performed using the correct procedures and standards, referring to manufacturers service manuals
Perform testing and adjustments after completion of your work to make sure you meet customer and manufacturer high-quality standard of work
Planning and carrying out maintenance procedures, such as engine tune-ups, lubrications, and oil changes, to make sure vehicles run more smoothly
Ensure pollution regulations are adhered to

To be successful in this role:

Hold a recognized Australian Automotive Technician qualification
Minimum 2 years experience as a mechanic
Possess a current Australian drivers license
Have great time management with the ability to prioritise deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Experience in Titan DMS preferred
