Full Job Description

Who will you work for?
This business is a world class vegetable seedling producer, supplying over 300 million seedlings to Growers across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia. With a devoted R&D department and a passion for innovation, this company are a step ahead of their competitors in the Australian market. They are renowned for the high quality of their commercial seedlings, their, value-add customer service and innovation in seedling production and technical advice.

The role itself?
With the support and guidance of your colleagues, you will engage with vegetable growers across the Darling Downs, Lockyer Valley and Wide Bay regions. You will develop relationships with business owners, agronomists and production/farm managers across the vegetable industry where you will create opportunities to strengthen their understanding of the value of quality seedlings.

Your day to day activities in this role will include:

Effective and on-going management of all professional & commercial relationships
Engaging in an on-going and progressive professional development program
Providing timely and accurate technical support to current and potential customers
Identifying market opportunities and working closely with customers to understand their needs
Creating and engaging in valuable professional relationships.

What kind of person will fit the role?
The perfect person for this role would be someone with tertiary agricultural science qualifications and previous experience in vegetable production. A person that has an ability to establish, maintain and develop relationships with all stakeholders by providing quality information and solutions.

How will you be rewarded?
You will be rewarded for your contributions to the business with an attractive salary (proportionate to your experience and skill set), annual incentives, 9.5% superannuation and a vehicle.
