About the role and where you will be working:
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to join the friendly and supportive team at Juniper Gerdewoonem in Kununurra.
Reporting to the Residential Manager, you will provide clinical leadership and oversight of care services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. You will work closely with residents, families, nursing staff and allied health professionals to support positive resident outcomes, clinical excellence and compliance with aged care standards.
This is a permanent full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexible start and finish times can be negotiated.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide clinical leadership and oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care

Conduct resident assessments, reviews and care planning to support positive health outcomes

Coordinate the admission process and ongoing clinical care requirements for residents

Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated care services

Support, mentor and develop the capability of nursing and care teams

Monitor clinical quality, risk and compliance outcomes, including incident management and continuous improvement
Key requirements:

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (essential)

Demonstrated leadership experience within aged care, residential care or a healthcare setting

Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards, clinical governance and care planning processes

Experience with AN-ACC funding, assessments and documentation (desirable)

Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
-
Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous improvement
-
Ability to obtain all required clearances, including a National Police Clearance and Key Personnel checks
