We have been a leading independent supplier of plumbing, bathroom and kitchen products across the ACT and Southern NSW for over 40 years. As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a motivated and detail‑driven Accounts Officer to join our Finance Team at our Fyshwick Head Office.

About the role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in the day‑to‑day processing of financial transactions and supporting the wider business. This varied position blends accounts administration, customer service and problem‑solving within a supportive team environment.

Key duties include:

Process customer invoices, receipts and daily banking
Complete cash and petty cash reconciliations
Manage credit card and fuel card transactions
Process and reconcile supplier invoices and statements
Prepare supplier payment runs
Set up new customer and supplier accounts
Maintain accurate financial records
Assist with regional cash reconciliations and month‑end tasks
Provide general administrative support and liaise with internal and external stakeholders

About You

You enjoy working with numbers, take pride in accuracy and thrive in a collaborative team. Ideally, you bring:

Experience in accounts or finance administration (preferred, not essential)
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
Intermediate–advanced Excel skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Experience with accounting software (advantageous; training provided)
