Our clinic in Carlingford is currently seeking an Office Manager to join the team. We are happy to accommodate a start date best suited to the successful candidate.
The role is a full time working Monday to Friday , between 8am-5pm, and a rotational Saturday shift from 8:45am to 12pm.
In 2026, I-MED Radiology's clinic network expanded across the Sydney Metropolitan Region following the acquisitions of Radiology Group in Sydney’s North West.
Role Overview:
As an Office Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.
- Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.
- Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
- Billing procedures – private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.
- Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.
- Leadership role responsible for administrative operations and front-of-house teams.
- Close collaboration with radiologists, technologists, hospital departments and research teams.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Day to day medical reception tasks; greeting and arriving patients, answering phone calls and emails, booking appointments etc.
- Support the clerical team of up to 15 staff across medical reception
- Plan and manage daily clerical staff rostering
- Manage the clinic’s daily appointment schedule
- Manage the clinic’s daily banking and other financial applications and requirements
- Work closely with the Regional Manager, Chief Medical Imaging Technologist, and Radiologist/s
What we’re looking for:
✅ People management and leadership experience.
✅ Clear verbal and written communication skills.
✅ Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.
✅ Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.
✅ A background in radiology or healthcare would be very beneficial.
✅ Experience in COMRAD booking system and Microsoft office is desirable.
