The opportunity
The Training Administrator is responsible for supporting and executing the day-to-day administration duties within the training department at Swickers Kingaroy Bacon Factory. Supported by the training coordinator, this role assists to implement administration initiates and document control within the training function.
Main duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Participate in a dynamic team environment with department trainers to facilitate Swickers training requirements
- Ensure compliance with the Swickers Company Training Procedures
- Providing day-to-day support across production departments, particularly those currently supported by the Maintenance Trainer as he transitions into overseeing multiple certified training courses for the maintenance team
- Tracking and managing training documentation for non-production departments (IT, HR, WHS, Planning, Stores, etc.)
- Assisting with paperwork, filing, and general administrative support across all departments
- Supporting employee folder maintenance and training matrix updates
- Preparing weekly Site Induction packs
- Assisting with coordination of annual evacuation training
- Assist in amending and developing controlled training documents such as, QSWIs, SOPs, Alerts, etc
- Supporting document translation and verification processes
- Providing additional coverage to production areas during trainers leave periods
- Developing capability to act as a step-up trainer when required
- Participate in training meetings when required
- Assist with the development and delivery of training programs when required
- Other training and compliance related administrative tasks;
- Carry out any other reasonable request that may be given from time to time by the company.

What we’re looking for
Swickers has established an efficient, highly skilled yet diversified team. As a key member you will have:
- Sound understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Emails);
- Able to demonstrate proficiency in communication with excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to build report with a wide variety of people;
- Ability to demonstrate problem solving abilities and the ability to work with minimal supervision;
- Proficiency with safety and compliance systems highly regarded;
- Exceptional organisational skills, multi-task, and work to deadlines;
- Accuracy in data entry.
- Understanding of the customer’s business and challenges to ensure initiatives, processes and advice meet the needs of customer.
- Keep up to date record keeping and document control.
