Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the fuel station and convenience retail store to ensure smooth and efficient workflow
- Plan and implement strategies to improve sales performance, profitability, customer satisfaction, and overall business operations
- Lead, supervise, train, and motivate staff to achieve business objectives and maintain high service standards
- Manage staff rostering, performance monitoring, training requirements, and workplace productivity
- Ensure excellent customer service by handling enquiries, feedback, and resolving customer concerns professionally
- Monitor inventory levels, manage stock control, coordinate supplier orders, and ensure product availability across fuel and convenience store categories
- Maintain store presentation standards, implement merchandising strategies, and support promotional activities to maximise sales opportunities
- Analyse sales reports, customer trends, and operational performance to identify areas for improvement
- Manage budgets, financial records, cash handling procedures, daily transactions, and operational expenses
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, customers, contractors, and business stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace health and safety requirements, fuel station procedures, and relevant retail regulations
- Monitor product quality, pricing, stock rotation, and promotional activities to support business growth
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement effective business solutions
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or higher qualification in Retail Management, Business Management, or a related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in retail management, fuel station operations, convenience retail, or a similar leadership role
- Strong understanding of retail operations, sales management, customer service practices, and inventory control
- Experience managing stock, suppliers, ordering processes, and store performance targets
- Proven ability to supervise, train, and motivate employees effectively
- Ability to analyse business performance and implement strategies for improvement
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operational responsibilities
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
