Job Description
Are you someone who thrives on solving mechanical challenges? As a Fleet Maintenance Mechanic at ALDI, you will play a vital role in our Transport department, bringing your technical expertise to bear on the maintenance and repair of our trucks and trailers. Success here demands not just skill, but the commitment to quality, attention to detail, and the capacity to handle a varied workload.

What does the role involve?

Ensuring the safety and efficiency of our fleet by maintaining and repairing trucks and trailers.

Regular engagement with the Maintenance Engineer or Section Leader to understand and manage workload.

Diligently scheduling and carrying out maintenance.

Providing necessary support while fostering a clean, well-organised work environment.

Qualifications
What are we looking for?

Automotive Mechanical Engineering Qualifications
-
Diesel qualifications or Refrigeration mechanic experience

Experience in maintaining heavy vehicles.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively, showcasing your team spirit.

Clear and engaging communication skills.

The resilience to maintain composure and efficiency under pressure.

HC licence preferred but not essential
Additional Information

Monday to Friday starting at 6am with occasional weekend work.
