Lindsay Transport are a leading transport company seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join the team based from our Hazlemere, WA Workshop.
This is a great opportunity for someone who can manage their own time while overseeing fleet maintenance, where your expertise sets the standard for safety, reliability, and performance.

What You’ll Do:
Reliability is the cornerstone in transport, you will be an essential part ensuring our fleet is maintained to the highest level:
- Vehicle maintenance and repair – repairing, replacing and diagnosing issues across a variety of fleet vehicles (prime movers, rigids and trailers)
- Perform major repairs including midlife’s and brake/bearing overhauls and servicing
- Demonstrating safe work practices, leading by example and promoting a safe work culture
- Accurately completing maintenance and repair documentation.
What You’ll Bring:
- Mechanical Trade qualification
- Electrical and/or Refrigeration experience – dual trade is highly desirable
- Proven competence in repairs and overhauls
- Experience working on prime movers or heavy vehicle trailers is highly valued
- Effective diagnostic skills on Kenworth, DAF, Cummins, BPW
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Solid computer skills and systems knowledge
- Motivated, reliable and a good work ethic
- Current HR Licence
