About Us
Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is an exceptional environment to advance your career while enhancing your skills and expertise. As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, we deliver a comprehensive range of public health services across the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Regions.
The Blue Mountains and Lithgow region incorporates four facilities delivering integrated, community-focused care across the region. Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital is an acute facility supporting around 80,000 people and is the only remaining ANZAC Memorial hospital in NSW. Springwood Hospital, a well-supported community facility, provides allied health, rehabilitation, aged care and palliative services. The Lithgow Campus in South Bowenfels serves approximately 20,000 residents with a broad range of services including emergency, obstetric, paediatric, geriatric and drug and alcohol care. Portland Tabulam Health Centre offers residential aged care, sub-acute beds and community health services, and is recognised for excellence in person-centred care. Together, these facilities work collaboratively to meet the diverse healthcare needs of the Blue Mountains and Lithgow communities.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Allied Health Manager to lead service delivery across Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital, Springwood Hospital, Lithgow Hospital and Portland MPS. This is a key leadership role responsible for providing both operational and professional direction to a dedicated multidisciplinary allied health workforce.
In this position, you will drive the delivery of efficient, effective and high-quality clinical care across a diverse and geographically distributed service. You will play a critical role in shaping service excellence, supporting staff development and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Working collaboratively with clinical and operational leaders, you will ensure allied health services meet the highest standards of professional practice, patient safety and client-centred care.
You will oversee quality and risk management frameworks, ensuring robust governance processes are in place and adhered to across all sites. Your leadership will support innovation, service integration and sustainable workforce planning, helping to meet the evolving needs of the community.
This role is ideal for a confident and forward-thinking leader with a strong clinical background, exceptional communication skills and a passion for delivering high-quality healthcare outcomes.
If you are ready to take the next step in your leadership career and make a meaningful impact across a diverse health district, we encourage you to apply.
