The Regional Tobacco Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the Tackling Indigenous Smoking (TIS) Program .
You must have a strong cultural understandind and respecful community engagement, the ability to deliver culturally responsive education sessions in schools, workplaces and community, experience in community engagement and/or event coordinator along with a passion for working with youth, schools and aboriginal communities and the confidence to supervise , lead , mentor and support staff
Reporting to the Manager Social & Emotional Wellbeing , the Regional Tobacco Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the Tackling Indigenous Smoking (TIS) Program, ensuring the program operates cohesively across the region. This position will lead a team of Tobacco Action Workers to promote, undertake and support a range of programs, activities, promotions and workshops to address quitting smoking; and contribute to the development and provision of regional TIS campaign.
This position will undertake line management and team coordination duties to ensure the cohesive, effective management of both the TIS program and Youth Action team.
