Northern Star Resources is seeking a highly organised and proactive Human Resources Officer to join our Human Resources team in Kalgoorlie.

This residential opportunity offers flexibility with either a 5:2 roster working 9-hour days or a 5:2/4:3 roster working 10-hour days.

This role is ideal for an experienced administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work. Supporting our HR and Talent teams, you will play a key role in ensuring administrative processes run smoothly while providing exceptional service to employees, candidates and stakeholders across the business.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Human Resources Officer, you'll be responsible for a variety of administrative and coordination tasks, including:

Providing day-to-day administrative support to the HR and Talent teams.
Processing invoices, auditing leave records, and preparing correspondence and documentation.
Maintaining accurate employee records and databases while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
Acting as a first point of contact for employee and candidate enquiries, delivering professional and timely support.
Assisting with the preparation and distribution of employment-related documentation, including contracts, letters, policies and onboarding materials.
Coordinating pre-employment requirements and onboarding activities to ensure candidates are site-ready and compliant with company requirements.
Managing records and filing systems in line with company standards and legislative requirements.
Supporting a range of HR projects and initiatives as required.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a motivated administrator with exceptional organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.

Essential Requirements

Proven experience in an administrative, coordination, or support role.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate work.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
Strong data entry and record management skills with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
A customer-focused mindset with a passion for providing outstanding service.
Western Australian C Class Manual Driver's Licence.

Desirable

Experience working within a corporate, mining, recruitment, payroll, HR or shared services environment.
Exposure to HR, recruitment or workforce management systems.
