About the Role
NK Training Centre is expanding into Perth, and we are looking for an experienced and passionate Pathology Collection Trainer & Assessor to join us as we establish our presence in Western Australia.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced pathology professional and VET trainer who wants to play an important role in developing our Perth operations.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging, practical and industry-relevant training to students undertaking Certificate III in Pathology Collection, while ensuring training and assessment is delivered to a high standard and in accordance with RTO requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver face-to-face training and assessment in Pathology Collection
- Provide practical demonstrations and hands-on training to students
- Assess student knowledge and practical competencies
- Support and mentor students throughout their course
- Maintain accurate training and assessment records
- Provide constructive feedback and additional support where required
- Participate in validation, moderation and continuous improvement activities
- Maintain current industry knowledge and vocational competency
- Work closely with NK Training Centre's academic and compliance team
- Contribute to the establishment and growth of our Perth training operations
- Help create a positive, professional and supportive learning environment
About You
We are looking for someone who combines real pathology collection experience with strong training capability.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or an equivalent qualification that meets current VET trainer and assessor requirements
- Relevant pathology collection qualification and vocational competencies
- Current or recent industry experience in pathology collection / phlebotomy
- Strong practical pathology collection skills
- Experience delivering and assessing nationally recognised training is highly desirable
- Sound understanding of RTO compliance and competency-based assessment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A genuine passion for teaching and supporting students
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with our wider team
