Joondalup Health Campus is seeking an enthusiastic and suitably qualified Librarian to join our friendly and supportive Library Services team.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality library and information services to staff, supporting their clinical practice, research, education, policy development, and management responsibilities. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Principal responsibilities to include (but not limited to):

Manages seamless delivery of quality information resources to support evidence-based clinical and corporate practice across Joondalup Health Campus

Take responsibility for the efficient daily running of the library
-
Ensure compliance with Copyright legislation and License Agreements
-
Improve user experience within Joondalup Health Campus through provision of high-quality customer support to clinical, medical and other library customers

Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, customers and key stakeholders

Perform complex, high level literature searches

Manage library subscriptions and invoicing
What we are looking for:
Essential:
-
Undergraduate or postgraduate qualification accredited by Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA)
-
Eligibility for professional membership of Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA)
-
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
-
Proven ability to work effectively in a small team and independently as required
-
Intermediate experience using Microsoft products
Desirable
-
Experience in interlibrary loan procedures and reference work in a clinical setting
-
Familiarity with current technology, in particular health databases and online databases
