Division: Strategy, Regulation and Legal

Position No: 021201

Salary: Level 5, $105,167 - $114,938 pa pro rata + Super - PSCSAA 2024

Work Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: Perth Metropolitan Area

The Opportunity
As an Information Coordinator you will be responsible for:

coordinating the collation and provision of criminal history and other relevant information between Western Australia and other Australian and International jurisdictions;

developing effective working relationships and liaising with internal and external key stakeholders in this process, including the Courts, police jurisdictions and other relevant agencies as required;

undertakes training and mentoring of other staff to develop skills in relation to the interpretation and the quality assurance of criminal history and other relevant information;

participating in the development of quality practice standards and risk management in formulating relevant policies, procedures and guidelines in relation to gathering and the interpretation of criminal record information; and

undertaking assessments of identified criminal history information for the purposes of Working with Children Checks, including the preparation of reports outlining assessment outcomes as required.
