About the job

We’re looking for a passionate Physiotherapist with experience in Aged Care to join our Residential Care Services team on a casual/locum basis in the Brisbane area and surrounds, QLD. This is a fantastic chance to make a real difference in the lives of our clients while gaining flexible, hands-on experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver clinical care to clients
Communicate with residents, families, nursing staff, medical practitioners, allied health practitioners, case managers, and equipment suppliers
Prescribe and review exercises, including leading exercise groups
Collaborate with the broader clinical team and facility management to deliver tailored care
Manage daily schedules effectively, including clinical and non-clinical tasks
Participate in professional development and mentoring opportunities
Deliver education sessions such as falls prevention and manual handling to staff

Qualifications & Skills:

AHPRA General Registration
Clinical skills to perform assessments, treatment, risk assessments, and mentor junior therapists
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
Appropriate working visas, National Police Certificate, and NDIS/Working with Children Check
