Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, the F&B Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the successful operation of our outlets. The responsibilities of the F&B Supervisor include managing F&B operations and standards, adhering to budgets and training F&B team members and handling customer complaints.
You will possess excellent customer service and problem-solving skills, as well as experience with merchandise selection. The F&B Supervisor is accountable for planning, controlling, and ordering for our hospitality arm of the sanctuary. The F&B Supervisor must ensure orders meet established quality standards and that they will not run out of supplies before the next delivery. Full compliance with safety regulations is expected as well as hands-on input to product, displays and outlet innovation.
Essential Attributes:
- Extensive F&B and POS Experience.
- Exceptional Time Management skills and ability to manage all aspects of the F&B operations and budget.
- Creating and enforcing outlet policies, targets and KPIs.
- The drive and motivation to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Highly skilled to train, mentor and develop team members.
- Ability to review, revise and create standard operating procedures for all functions in F&B operations.
- Ability to forecast, plan and source supplies to meet operational requirements.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with all vendors.
- Ability to manage catering requests with reservations teams.
Responsibilities:
- Review all areas of your operation to identify areas for improvement and create opportunities to improve service and revenue.
- Comply with all Sanctuary policies, procedures and CATER Core Values.
- Ability to select products, placement and continuously make improvements to same.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure F&B outlets maintain the strictest hygiene and safety levels.
- Responsible for performing, submitting and reporting accurate monthly stock takes.
- Lead from the front and be willing to assist in your sections as and when required.
- Assisting and supporting marketing events, and campaigns.
- Assisting and supervising the F&B Operations from time to time.
- Other additional duties required from management.
Experience and Skills:
- Preferred however not essential, management or supervisory experience in a multi outlet environment.
- Strong leadership, coaching and organisational skills to drive improvement.
- A motivated and energetic approach to work.
- A professional focus, creativity, and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to maximise sales and minimise wastage.
- High level of initiative coupled with the ability to identify, prioritise, and manage multiple tasks and accomplish objectives in a fast-paced workplace.
- Professional and patient communication technique with a proven ability to foster cooperative working relationships amongst stakeholders, i.e., guests, management, and a diverse team.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Extensive Point of Sale systems and MS Office experience.
- Working knowledge in WH&S.
- A current QLD RSA or ability to obtain one.
- Flexibility to work a roster that includes weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
- Possess great delegation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.

Pay: $36.22 – $36.89 per hour
