People & Culture Senior Advisor (Trucks)
RDO Equipment is seeking an experienced Senior People & Culture Advisor, based in Brisbane, to support our Inland Truck Centre and Twin City Truck Centre businesses. This role will require travel to support leaders and teams on the ground.

About the Role
In this hands‑on generalist role, you’ll provide end‑to‑end People & Culture support across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, internal communication, and HSEQ alignment. Working closely with operational leaders across our Truck Centre businesses, you’ll deliver practical, fit‑for‑purpose people solutions, build leadership capability, and ensure consistent, compliant HR practices across all sites.
Based in our Brisbane head office, this role requires flexibility to travel, with visits to our Victoria and New South Wales dealership locations to support leaders and teams on the ground. Reporting directly to the Head of People & Culture, with a dotted line to the Executive General Manager – Trucks, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to leaders, supporting day‑to‑day people matters while contributing to broader business integration and workforce initiatives.
What You’ll Be Doing

Partner with leaders across the Truck Centre branches to deliver high‑quality, timely HR support.

Manage end‑to‑end recruitment and onboarding to ensure a seamless candidate and employee experience.

Support leaders with employee relations matters, including performance, conduct, and policy interpretation.

Assist with internal communications to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across the business.

Work closely with HSEQ to support safety, compliance, and wellbeing initiatives.

Deliver culture, engagement, and employee experience activities that reflect RDO’s values.

Maintain accurate HR documentation, workforce data, and reporting.

Coach and support frontline leaders to build confidence and capability in people management.

Provide coordination and EA‑style support to the Executive General Manager - Trucks, including diary scheduling, meeting preparation and project support.
What We’re Looking For

Experience in a generalist People & Culture / HR Advisory role, ideally across multi‑site, operational or industrial environments.

Strong understanding of employment legislation, awards, and best‑practice HR processes.

Confident communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust quickly.

Experience managing recruitment and onboarding processes.

Practical, solutions‑focused thinking and the ability to work autonomously

Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to juggle competing priorities.
