Full Job Description

About the role

As Chef de Cuisine, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the kitchen at RACV Inverloch Resort, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and exceptional guest experiences. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll guide and develop your team, drive operational excellence, and contribute to the ongoing success of the resort.

You will be responsible for:

Leading, coaching and motivating a high-performing kitchen brigade
Delivering consistent, high-quality food across restaurant, events and functions
Managing kitchen operations including rostering, stock control and ordering
Contributing to menu development and continuous improvement initiatives
Driving cost control and supporting the financial performance of the kitchen
Maintaining strong food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards
Collaborating across the resort to enhance the overall guest experience

About you

You’re a passionate and experienced culinary leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys developing teams and delivering quality outcomes.

You will bring:

Experience in a senior kitchen leadership role (Chef de Cuisine or similar)
A background in 4–5 star hotels, resorts or high-volume venues
Strong technical capability across all kitchen sections
Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, coach and inspire others
Solid organisational and financial management skills
A proactive, hands-on approach with attention to detail
Relevant Commercial Cookery qualifications
