Home Care Worker (Cassowary Coast)

Job Type: Casual

Role Overview

Our Far North Queensland office continues to grow and we are seeking experienced Home Care Workers who are enthusiastic and passionate about providing a caring, compassionate, respectful and high-quality service.

Clients and caregivers are matched based on skill level, personality traits and preferences to support long-term relationships.

As typical in the role of in-home aged care support, you will assist with:

personal care
domestic assistance
transportation
medication reminders
and other activities of daily living

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

Certificate III in Aged Care, Community or Disability Services
Satisfactory Australian National Police check issued within the last 12 months;
Current or willing to obtain a first aid and CPR certificate;
Smart mobile phone; and
Driver’s licence and their own reliable presentable car.

Preferred Skills

This role will report to the Care Manager and a successful candidate will have the following:

Ability to provide personal and domestic care;
A passion for respectfully empowering and caring for people in a community setting;
Excellent written and verbal skills;
Able to work autonomously and as part of a team;
Excellent time management and organisational skills; and
Willingness to participate in further education opportunities.

Pay: Up to $45.29 per hour
