Animal Attendant & Receptionist
Casual Position – Hiring in preparation for the July school holidays! Hours will vary based on occupancy levels.

We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Animal Attendant & Receptionist to join our amazing team at Pet Resorts Australia! If you're passionate about animal care, enjoy working with both pets and people, and want a job that is genuinely rewarding, we'd love to hear from you!!
Every day you'll help provide a safe, happy and fun holiday experience for our furry guests while creating exceptional experiences for their owners.

- A supportive team player who enjoys working closely with others
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions and keeping up in a busy environment
Previous experience in animal care, customer service or the pet industry is highly regarded, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
Skills & Experience
- Confident handling dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments
- Strong understanding of dog behaviour and body language
- Ability to monitor and report health and wellbeing concerns
- Knowledge of cat and dog breeds is an advantage
Customer Service & Communication
- Exceptional communication skills
- Previous customer service experience
- Ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
Teamwork & Time Management
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
Additional Requirements
- Basic computer skills
- Current NSW Driver's Licence
- Own transport (essential as there's no public transport)
Your Day-to-Day Duties
- Welcoming and assisting clients
- Caring for and handling our animal guests
- Monitoring and reporting animal health and behaviour
- Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment
- Assisting with reception and administrative tasks
- Working closely with your team to ensure every guest has an amazing stay
