As our Service Navigator – Financial Wellbeing, you'll be the first point of contact for people seeking support through Anglicare's Financial Wellbeing programs. Through compassionate engagement, trauma-informed intake and thoughtful service navigation, you'll help people experiencing financial hardship access the right support at the right time.
Working within our Financial Wellbeing & Community team, you'll create a welcoming, person-centred experience that builds trust, identifies individual needs and connects clients with services that strengthen their financial wellbeing and resilience.

Your opportunity
As our Service Navigator, you'll provide high-quality intake, assessment and service navigation for people accessing Anglicare's Financial Capability, Financial Counselling, Microfinance and related Financial Wellbeing programs. You'll remain connected with each client throughout their intake and allocation journey, ensuring they receive timely support, warm referrals and a seamless experience.
Working collaboratively with Financial Capability Caseworkers, Financial Counsellors, Microfinance Workers, Group Facilitators and community partners, you'll help coordinate holistic support while ensuring accurate documentation, effective triage and exceptional client care.
With integrity and compassion, you will:
Deliver compassionate, trauma-informed intake and assessment for clients experiencing financial hardship.
Conduct triage, manage waitlists and coordinate referrals.
Remain connected with clients throughout their allocation journey.
Build collaborative relationships across Financial Wellbeing teams and referral partners.
Maintain accurate client records while contributing to continuous improvement.
What you'll bring

You will also need:
Qualifications or experience in Community Services, Social Work or customer service in a community setting.
Experience supporting clients with complex needs.
Experience conducting intake, assessment or service coordination.
Experience using CRM/client database systems.
Excellent communication and organisation skills.
Current Working With Children Check.
Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
Ideally, you will also have:
Experience in financial wellbeing or community services.
Knowledge of trauma-informed and person-centred practice.
Experience working with CALD and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Current NSW Driver Licence.
Experience supporting outreach activities.
