As a Registered Nurse within the Specialist Mental Health Services for Older People team based in Coniston, you’ll provide meaningful, person-centred care to older adults experiencing mental health challenges across community and residential aged care settings. Working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you’ll deliver comprehensive assessments, evidence-based interventions, and coordinated care planning that supports recovery, stability, and quality of life. This is a deeply rewarding role where your clinical expertise, communication skills, and compassion directly support not only consumers, but also their families, carers, and aged care staff.

Our services are delivered by a range of health professionals with skills and expertise in mental health problems affecting older people and people with age-related frailty. This includes specialist old-age psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, diversional therapists Peer Worker and social workers. The team incorporate and work in combination with primary health and aged care services, community support services, hospital services and the housing and residential aged care sector.
