About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sous Chef or Senior CDP to work alongside our Head Chef and help lead day-to-day kitchen operations.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys quality produce, fast-paced service, team development, and helping shape a high-performing kitchen culture.
- 4–5 day roster
- Mix of days, nights and weekends
- Consecutive days off
- Extra hours available during peak summer trade
- Start within 2–4 weeks

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
- Lead service and maintain calm, consistent standards under pressure
- Assist with menu development, seasonal updates and specials
- Have genuine creative input into menu direction
- Ordering, stock control, rotation and wastage management
- Maintain food safety, cleanliness and kitchen systems
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
- Help improve standards, structure and kitchen culture
- Ensure prep systems and service readiness are consistently strong
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior CDP ready to step up
- Passion for fresh produce and seasonal cooking
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to perform in a busy service environment
- Reliable, organised and team-first attitude
- Strong understanding of kitchen systems and food safety
- Australian working rights preferred
- Sponsorship available for the right candidate
