Full Job Description

Would you like to join our growing team in the heart of the Hunter Valley?

We are looking for both experienced horse people and enthusiastic individuals, who have a strong interest in the thoroughbred industry, to join our team at our NSW base, Segenhoe Stud.

You will be well-presented and have a friendly and outgoing personality with a desire to learn and grow your horse husbandry skills. In addition, you will have good communication skills and a hardworking, can-do attitude.

Reporting to the Stud Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to:

Daily stud tasks such as feeding, checking horses, horse movements, and paddock/stable maintenance.
Administering medications and drenches, as required.
Assisting veterinarians, farriers, and dentists with procedures.
Cleaning and maintaining barns, equipment, and tools
Other general stud farm tasks as required.

Candidates will be offered a remuneration package in accordance with experience and have the opportunity to join a fun and supportive team. Shared accommodation will be available to the successful candidate if required.

A valid right to work in Australia and access to a car are essential.
