About Us

At The Mind & Behaviour Clinic, we are passionate about empowering individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives. We are a progressive allied health clinic with a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment. Our multi-disciplinary team includes Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, and Psychologists, working together to deliver evidence-based and client-centred care.

We are now seeking a dedicated Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our growing team and make a real difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

About the Role

As a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner, you will:

Develop, implement, and review Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs) aligned with NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission standards.
Work collaboratively with clients, families, carers, and other allied health professionals to provide holistic support.
Conduct functional behaviour assessments and identify strategies to reduce behaviours of concern.
Provide education, coaching, and training to families, carers, and support staff.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with compliance requirements.
Contribute to team meetings, case discussions, and ongoing professional development.

Essential Criteria:

Relevant qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, or a related allied health field.
Registration or provisional registration with relevant professional body (e.g. AHPRA, AASW, SPA).
Eligibility or current status as an NDIS-registered Behaviour Support Practitioner (core, proficient, or advanced).
Experience working with individuals with disability, autism, or behaviours of concern.
Knowledge of NDIS frameworks and compliance requirements.

Desirable Criteria:

Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
Additional training in behaviour support approaches and interventions.
