Skills and Experiences:
About You
You will be a proactive and community-minded professional who enjoys working with people and making a positive contribution to community safety and compliance. You'll have experience in a regulatory, local goverment, compliance or enforcement environment and will be confident in applying legislation, managing challenging situations, and delivering fair and consistent outcomes.
You will also hold a Certificate IV in Animal Management, Local Government, Statutory Compliance or a related field, and have experience in animal management and handling. Experience supervising staff or coordinating programs will be highly regarded.
To be successful in this role, you will possess sound problem-solving skills, good judgement, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You'll also have strong communication and customer service skills, enabling you to engage effectively with a diverse range of community members, educated residents on their responsibilities, and build positive relationships.
A current Working with Children Check and current Drivers Licence are essential.
