About The Role

Due to growth, Steelforce are seeking a driven and motivated individual to join our team as a Machine Operator role in Horningsea Park.

In this newly created role, you will have the opportunity to join a small, community minded and high performing team. The team is highly safety focused and process driven, and you will receive thorough training by a supportive leadership team setting you up for success. This role offers full-time secure employment and is a fantastic opportunity to build a career in the steel industry.

The standard working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

Your key duties will include:

Use specialised production machinery & overhead cranes to shape & transform steel products into custom designed shapes.

Assisting with general warehousing duties when machinery is not running to maximise operational efficiency.

Effectively work within a team environment to achieve production KPI’s.

Take ownership of your machine’s performance including output, downtime, quality & housekeeping.

Championing safety procedures to the highest standard.

About Your Experience:

To be successful in this role you will value collaborative working environments and promote a safety-first culture. You thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume role that requires attention to detail and time management skills to meet KPIs. Additionally:

You will ideally come from the steel/heavy or any manufacturing industry with previous machine experience

Overhead crane experience will be highly regarded

Ability to learn quickly & be trained in new processes/systems

Strong commitment to the safety of yourself and the team
