Your Next Opportunity

Velocity Truck Centres is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Controller/ Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team. This is a permanent, full-time role working Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, based across our Laverton and Port Melbourne dealerships.

In this role, you will take ownership of accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collections, accurate reconciliations, and strong customer engagement. You will also provide support across accounts payable and general administrative duties, contributing to the smooth operation of the broader finance function.

Key Responsibilities

Receipting cash sales, debtor payments, and daily banking
Managing and collecting outstanding debtor balances
Reconciling debtor accounts, cash sales accounts, and finance company clearing accounts
Processing new account applications and maintaining accurate customer records
Preparing and issuing invoices and monthly statements
Assisting with bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
Supporting accounts payable and general administrative tasks as required
Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers

About You

Proven experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role
Sound understanding of general accounting principles
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Ability to support accounts payable and administrative functions
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
