Full Job Description

Leading Hand Roofer – North of the River (NOR)

JP Precision Roofing is looking for an experienced Leading Hand Roofer to join our growing, family-run business, working across job sites North of the River.

You will lead a crew of approximately 3–4 roofers, ensuring each job is completed safely, efficiently, on time, and to a high standard.

What We’re Looking For

Proven roofing experience — trade qualified or not, experience is what matters
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a small crew
Ability to read and follow roofing plans and mud maps
Confidence to make on-site decisions, use initiative, and solve problems as they arise
Ability to complete jobs within set timeframes without compromising quality
Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
Highly motivated, reliable, and willing to lead by example
Your own hand tools and basic power tools
Reliable transport to travel to and from various job sites
