Cafe63 is looking for a Cook to join their team.
Responsibilities:
· Preparing high-quality food according to menu guidelines and recipes.
· Assist in planning menus and estimating food requirements and costs.
· Cooking a variety of foodstuff and menu items in a productive and economical way.
· Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements.
· Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations in compliance with food safety regulations.
· Monitor food stock levels and assist with ordering supplies and ingredients.
· Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with Food Authority hygiene and safety regulations.
· Assist in developing new menu items and seasonal specials.
· Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service.
· Ensure proper storage of food and minimize waste.
Essential Skills & Key Competencies :
· Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
· Ability to prepare and cook high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
· Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulations.
· Ability to manage multiple orders and maintain consistency during busy service periods.
· Strong teamwork and communication skills within a kitchen environment.
· Ability to maintain high standards of food presentation and quality.
Experience Required:
· Minimum 1 year experience as a Cook in a fast-paced restaurant or similar environment
· Certificate IV /Diploma in Commercial Cookery and Kitchen Management.
· Relevant hospitality or culinary training is advantageous.
· Food Safety / Food Handling Certificate is preferred.

Salary: $76000-$82000/year +Super
Pay: $76,000.00 – $82,000.00 per year
