JUNIOR FRONT OF HOUSE TEAM MEMBERS
Perfect for school-aged applicants.
No previous experience is necessary — we can provide training.
You’ll be involved in areas such as:
- Greeting and assisting customers
- Running food and drinks
- Clearing and resetting tables
- Basic drink preparation
- Takeaway service
- Restocking
- Cleaning and maintaining customer areas
- Supporting the wider Front of House team
- Learning café and hospitality operations
We’re looking for juniors who:
- Are friendly and confident talking to customers
- Are reliable and punctual
- Are willing to learn
- Can listen to and follow instructions
- Aren’t afraid to clean, help out and stay productive
- Have a positive attitude
- Work well with others
- Are available across weekends, school holidays and some evenings where required
Previous experience is not required — attitude, reliability and willingness to learn matter most.
SENIOR FRONT OF HOUSE TEAM MEMBERS
We are also looking for experienced Front of House employees who can confidently step into a busy hospitality environment.
Senior employees will be expected to work independently, provide excellent customer service and help support the wider team during service.
Depending on your experience and training, duties may include:
- Table service and order taking
- POS and payment processing
- Food and beverage service
- Bar service
- Coffee service
- Customer enquiries and service recovery
- Opening and closing duties
- Maintaining service and cleanliness standards
- Supporting and guiding junior employees
- Helping keep the floor organised during busy periods
- Identifying what needs to be done without needing constant direction
For senior positions, we’re looking for people who:
- Have previous hospitality or customer service experience
- Are confident working in a fast-paced environment
- Have strong customer service skills
- Demonstrate initiative and common sense
- Are reliable and punctual
- Can work independently while still being a strong team player
- Are comfortable helping and supporting junior employees
- Maintain high cleanliness and presentation standards
- Stay calm and productive during busy periods
- Take pride in doing the job properly
Experience in bar, coffee or high-volume food service will be highly regarded.

ABOUT AQUAVUE
Aquavue Beachfront Bar & Eatery is a busy beachfront café, restaurant and bar located on the Esplanade in Hervey Bay.
Our team works across breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, events and high-volume holiday periods, so no two shifts are exactly the same.
We pride ourselves on creating a relaxed coastal experience for our customers while maintaining strong service, cleanliness and operational standards behind the scenes.
