The Hervey Bay RSL is located on the beautiful Fraser Coast. The Club is the premier entertainment venue in the region experiencing growth in Hervey Bay.

The Club's facilities include:- 280 gaming machines, 4 bars, TAB and Keno, billiards and pool tables, child care centre, bottleshop, 3 functions rooms, 180 seat restaurant, 160 seat deck and 100 seat cafe.

The Role

Ensuring quality product and service is presented in a timely and efficient manner. Reporting to the Cafe Supervisor/Manager

Responsibilities include:-

Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, artisan and speciality beverages.
Cleaning and sanitising work areas, utensils and equipment.
Cleaning service and seating areas.
Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers.
Performing cashier duties

Skills for a barista

Customer service. excellent customer service skills is one of the most important parts of being a barista
Coffee knowledge
Attention to detail
Teamwork
Multitasking
Cash management
Ability to train other staff

Hours of Work

Weekly roster - casual or part time hours

Shifts range from early morning starts - 8.00am to 9.00pm

Must be available days, nights, weekends and public holidays
