What we are looking for:
Join a team committed to delivering high-quality plumbing services across the Fraser Coast. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Plumber to support the installation and maintenance of essential water and wastewater infrastructure.
What your day will look like:
- Install and maintain water supply and sewerage infrastructure including pipes, water meters, and house service connections.
- Respond to emergency plumbing situations and carry out repairs to mains, valves, hydrants, and sewer systems.
- Ensure compliance with the Plumbing and Drainage Act 2018 and relevant industry standards.
- Assist in the construction of water and wastewater assets, including trench preparation and service connection installation.
- Provide guidance and on-the-job training to apprentices and team members.
- Perform duties in accordance with Council protocols and licensing requirements.

What you’ll need for success:
- Qualified Tradesperson Cert III Plumber /Drainer
- MR Licence or ability to obtain within 3 months of appointment
- Construction Induction Training (White Card)
- Current Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B and Tetanus immunisations (or ability to readily acquire)
- Occupational/Open Plumber/Drainer Licence
- Demonstrated plumbing experience in construction and maintenance activities ideally gained within the water/wastewater industry.
- Proficient in the compliance with associated legislation, workplace policy and procedures and understand established standards.
- High level interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to problem solve.
- Demonstrated computer literacy utilising various computerised systems such as Microsoft suite (in particular Outlook, Word and Excel), electronic document management and relevant smart devices
