The Chemist Warehouse Kedron store feels like a little family, with team members working together to get through daily tasks. When one person is busy with orders, everyone jumps in to help; whether it’s clearing pallets or assisting on the floor! We strive to teach all team members every part of the job, so when leadership opportunities arise, we can step in quickly with the right person ready to take the role.

Our store is small but busy, with a high turnover that makes every day a fun and exciting challenge. Daily tasks are varied, with team members splitting time between tills or the back counter, maintaining their aisles, gap scanning, and completing small jobs that keep the store running smoothly. We strive to ensure a supportive, hands-on environment where everyone contributes and helps each other succeed!

As a Retail Pharmacy Assistant, a typical day might look like:

Helping customers, keeping shelves stocked, and ensuring transactions run smoothly
Assist customers with general queries
Replenish stock and maintain inventory levels
Serve customers and process purchases through our Point-of-Sale system
Setting up displays for catalogue promotions

This is a fast-paced environment that requires stamina, commitment, and the ability to stay focused when things get busy.

Excellent customer service with an eye for detail and accuracy
Knowledge of pharmacy products and eagerness to learn
Strong communication skills with all stakeholders
S2 & S3 trained & Certificates I–III in Community Pharmacy highly regarded
