Laser and Turret, located in Canning Vale WA 6155, is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications for sheet metal fabrication.
- Cutting, shaping, bending and forming sheet metal using appropriate tools and machinery, including laser and turret punch equipment.
- Assembling and fitting sheet metal components according to job requirements.
- Performing basic welding, fastening or joining processes as required.
- Ensuring accuracy and quality of finished products in line with specifications.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
- Operating machinery in accordance with safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
- Carrying out routine equipment checks and basic maintenance tasks.
About You:
- Minimum of one year of relevant work experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or in a similar role.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and measurements.
- Sound knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and materials.
- Experience using fabrication machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
