Join the team at Rustico Tapas and Wine Bar, where we deliver exceptional service and create memorable guest experiences.

Role Overview:

We are looking for A Bar Supervisor oversees daily bar operations, manages staff, ensures customer satisfaction, and maintains compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Staff Management:
Supervise bar staff, delegate tasks, monitor performance, provide guidance during shifts, and conduct training for new and existing employees to maintain consistent service standards.

Customer Service Excellence:
Ensure guests receive prompt, courteous service, handle complex requests, resolve complaints, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.

Inventory and Stock Control:
Monitor stock levels, place orders, conduct stocktakes, minimize wastage, and maintain par levels to ensure smooth operations.
Operational Oversight:
Open and close the bar, manage shift changeovers, coordinate with other departments, and ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.
Compliance and Safety:
Enforce responsible service of alcohol (RSA), adhere to local liquor laws, maintain health and safety standards, and handle difficult situations professionally.
Sales and Menu Management:
Assist in creating appealing drink menus, promote sales, and ensure cost-effective service while maintaining quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience: Previous bartending and supervisory experience in hospitality or bar settings.
Certifications: Relevant alcohol service certifications such as RSA, TIPS, or equivalent depending on location.
Leadership and Communication: Ability to motivate and guide a team, delegate effectively, and maintain high standards during busy periods.
Organizational Skills: Strong multitasking, attention to detail, and ability to manage inventory and schedules efficiently.
Optional Qualifications: Some employers may prefer a degree or diploma in hospitality, business, or management.

RSA. Food Handing Certificate
