Description

Immediate start! Full-time and casual positions available.

Munce Racing are seeking an experienced, capable stable hand to join their training team at the Gold Coast.

Applicants must have suitable experience working with horses and must be a reliable and efficient worker with an attention to detail.

Duties will include:

Grooming and washing horses
Walking horses
Saddling horses
Race Day attendance
Swimming horses
Cleaning boxes
Cleaning gear
Sweeping
Cleaning & refilling water troughs
Feeding horses as directed
General stable duties

Most importantly we are looking for a person who demonstrates very good horse handling skills, a willingness to integrate themselves into the team, is honest, reliable, and self-motivated.

Applicants must be available to work early morning shifts, afternoons, and weekends.

Must have Queensland Stablehand license or be willing to obtain one.

No accommodation is provided with this position.

Rate of pay will be in accordance with the successful applicants’ experience and ability.
