Full Job Description

Job Title: Mathematics Tutor (Casual)
Location: Ivanhoe (in-person)

Insight Tutors is hiring one tutor to run weekly 1:1 Maths sessions with:

Year 7–10 students, and
Year 11/12 students studying Mathematical Methods

Experience with either (or both) is a bonus.

Important: DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DON’T HAVE VCE TUTORING EXPERIENCE. Applicants with high atars and atleast a scaled methods study score of 40 or more will be considered

What You’ll Do

Tutor students in-person in Ivanhoe ( you may have a few online students)
Cover classwork, VCAA questions and tests

Role Details

Pay: $60 per hour
Shifts are 2–4 hours at a time (your choice)
You must be able to travel to Ivanhoe
Casual role with consistent weekly hours

Ideal Candidate

Has VCE tutoring experience (non-negotiable)
Strong background in Mathematical Methods
Ideally studying science, engineering, maths, or commerce
Reliable, organised, and good at explaining concepts simply
