HD Fitter - Ancillary

Our Opportunity

Work Location: Cloudbreak, located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli Peoples

Roster: 7 Days / 7 Nights / 14 Days Off - FIFO ex Perth, Busselton, Broome, Karratha, Port Hedland, Fitzroy Crossing and Kununurra

Cloudbreak is seeking a HD Fitter - Ancillary to safely maintain and repair a diverse fleet of ancillary mobile equipment. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will ensure equipment reliability and availability through quality preventative and breakdown maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs on ancillary mobile equipment
Conduct planned preventative maintenance inspections
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic faults
Complete breakdown repairs safely and efficiently
Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability
Adhere to site safety standards and maintenance procedures
Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to achieve targets

Qualifications and Experience

Australian recognised Heavy Duty Mechanical Trade Certificate
Experience maintaining ancillary mining equipment in a mining environment
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills on diesel and hydraulic systems
Experience with CAT, Komatsu and other ancillary equipment fleets
Current Australian C Class Driver's Licence
Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
Sound understanding of safe work practices and risk management
Demonstrated commitment to safety, teamwork and continuous improvement
