About Jones & Co

Jones & Co is a specialist travel representation company, acting as the local sales and marketing arm for a curated portfolio of international travel partners - including hotels, resorts, luxury boutique cruises, tour operators, and destination experiences. We bridge the gap between our partners and the ANZ travel trade, ensuring that the industry has the knowledge, tools, and enthusiasm to confidently sell our partners’ products to their clients.

Our representation model means we work closely with each partner to understand their brand, key selling points, and target markets, then we take that message directly into the trade through proactive sales activity, training, and relationship-building.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and personable Sales Manager to join our team and help drive awareness and sales of our partner portfolio across the travel agent community. This is a hands-on, relationship-focused role that balances fieldwork with digital engagement. You will be the face of multiple incredible travel brands to a wide network of travel professionals.

You bring a couple of years of experience in travel sales or a related field, a natural flair for building connections, and the confidence to present and pitch across a range of settings, from a one-on-one coffee catch-up to a trade event in front of a room full of agents.

Key Responsibilities

Agent Relationship Management

Build and maintain a regular call cycle across your agent territory, nurturing existing relationships and developing new ones with independents and agency groups.

In-Person & Virtual Meetings

Conduct scheduled sales meetings with travel agents, both face-to-face and via video call, presenting partner products in a compelling and tailored way.

Partner Representation & Advocacy

Act as the dedicated in-market representative for each partner, championing their brand and keeping agents informed of new products, offers, and updates.

Product Training & Education

Deliver product training sessions, lunch-and-learns, and webinars that equip agents with the confidence and knowledge to sell our partners effectively.

Sales Reporting & Pipeline Tracking

Track sales activity, meeting outcomes, and lead conversion using CRM tools, providing regular updates to the team and partners on market performance.

Trade Events & Famils

Represent Jones & Co and our partners at trade shows, industry events, and agent famil trips to maximise partner visibility and foster deeper agent engagement.

Skills & Experience

2–4 years’ experience in travel sales, trade representation, or a similar commercial/sales role
Strong understanding of the retail travel agency landscape in Australia
Excellent communication and presentation skills, in person and online
Confident relationship builder with a genuine passion for travel
Comfortable managing a diverse portfolio of products across multiple partners
Proficiency with CRM tools, email marketing, and video conferencing platforms
Self-motivated with strong time management and territory planning skills
A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly
